Purim Spoof 09: Matishayu Still Can’t Find The Essence of His Being

After 10 years in the music business, soulful sensation Matisyahu this week reported that he still can’t find the essence of his being.

“Like the Lion of Zion I’m dying trying,” the chasidic reggae star said in a statement to The Jewish Weak. “I’m swaying and praying, every night in bed I’m laying, but my soul it keeps no-waying.”

When asked for additional details, Matisyahu’s manager said, “he’s lamenting and unrelenting, his reputation he’s cementing, but further he won’t be commenting.”
