Israel at 60

‘My Hatikva’ Web Site Launched

by

What are your hopes and dreams for Israel as it celebrates its 60th year of statehood?
A Web site is launching this week, featuring videos of a wide range of leading personalities speaking to the subject in two-minute clips.
The site, www.myhatikva.com, was created by the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations and Mark B. Pearlman of 4-Wall Media, who conceived of the idea.
The site is devoted to reflections on Israel’s national anthem, “Hatikva.”
Visitors can upload their own videos and blogs and share their hopes and aspirations for Israel, the Jewish people, and the world.
Among those featured on the site to date are Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations Dan Gillerman, U.S. News and World Report editor

in chief Mort Zuckerman, Emmy-award winning singer and songwriter Michal Towber, and Jewish Week editor and publisher Gary Rosenblatt.
