Frankfurt’s airport is a major hub for international travel, but the historic city of Rothschild and Buber is worth more than a stopover. Its proud Jewish heritage is intertwined with its longtime prominence in German finance and media, and indeed, Frankfurt has the country’s largest proportion of Jewish residents, a community that today numbers more than 10,000.
