They will share stories of memorable dishes from Middle Eastern and other cuisines, comforting family meals and more sumptuous feasts, the business of food and their uncommon hospitality – welcoming guests to their ever-expanding tables

Moderated by Sandee Brawarsky, book critic for The Jewish Week.

KIM KUSHNER

Kim Kushner
 

Kim Kushner is the author of “The Modern Menu: Simple,Beautiful, Kosher.” Her interest in food
was sparked by childhood summers in Israel,
feasting with her mother’s Moroccan family.

Since studying at the Institute of Culinary Education
in New York City, she has
taught cooking for more than ten years.

EINAT ADMONY, chef-owner of New York City’s
popular Balaboosta and Taim restaurants, and is about to open Bar Bolonat in the West Village. She studied cooking in Israel before moving to New York.
Her first book is:
“Balaboosta: Bold Mediterranean Recipes to Feed the People
You Love.”
