Eustacia Cutler, the mother of animal behaviorist, bestselling author and autism activist Temple Grandin, lectures nationally and internationally on autism and its relation to the rapidly emerging bio-neurological study of brain plasticity:  what causes rigid behavior in autism, the toll it takes on the family, and how current research into the neural nature of consciousness is pointing toward insightful possibilities of change.
Susan NussbaumSusan Nussbaum, a longtime disability rights activist, playwright and novelist, is the winner of the 2012 PEN/Bellwether Prize for Socially Engaged Fiction for her novel “Good Kings Bad Kings. “ She was chosen by the Utne Reader as one of 50 Visionaries Who Are Changing Your World.

Dr. Nancy Crown, a clinical psychologist and the mother an adult on the autism sprectrum, has presented widely on the topic of developmental disabilities. She is a co-founder and co-chair of the Congregation Rodeph Sholom Special Needs Committee and Shireinu workship services.
