He was also a founding chair and executive director of the Reform movement’s Israel Religious Action Center and president of the World Union for Progressive Judaism.

Rabbi Uri Regev is president and CEO of Hiddush-Freedom of Religion for Israel, a group that advocates for religious liberty and equality for all in Israel. He formerly served as president of the World Union for Progressive Judaism, an umbrella organization of the worldwide Progressive, Reform, Liberal and Reconstructionist movements. And he was the founding chair and executive director of the Israel Religious Action Center, the advocacy group founded by the Reform movement in Israel.
