Every time I come home from a business trip or vacation, there’s one bag that never gets unpacked: my emergency supply kit. Unlike my regular toiletry bag filled with daily essentials such as contact lens solution, my toothbrush, and Chapstick, this is my “worse-case scenario” gear – for when the you-know-what figuratively or literally threatens to hit the fan.

Razoo Changes Policy on Israeli Credit Cards

If you didn't receive numerous email solicitations from non-profit organizations during the final week of 2010, then your email server was likely down.

A few complaints led Razoo to change its policy on accepting credit card donations from Israel.

These days the UJA-Federation of New York is trying to make less of an impact — on the environment, that is.
The charity launched a Greening Initiative last week, working to bring environmentally friendly changes to its own offices, and to encourage network organizations to follow suit.
Almost every aspect of operations in the organization’s Manhattan office building, as well as in its beneficiary agencies, has been turned upside down to see how it can be made more Earth-friendly.
