A fire at a Jewish bookstore in South Florida is being investigated as arson.
Police believe the fire that broke out inside the Holyland Judaica store in Hollywood, Fla., was intentionally set, according to WSVN TV news.
Surveillance cameras showed people running out of the back of the store before the fire began, and the back door had been kicked in, according to the report.
Many books, including Jewish religious texts, were destroyed in the fire.
Authorities reportedly are investigating whether the attack was a hate crime. The fire follows a spree of vandalism against Jewish shops in Highland Park, NJ, and swastika sprees in Brooklyn and Queens over the last four weeks.
