Leftover Turkey: What To Do?

Get out there and vote -- for one of eight bloggers' recipes.

Turkey. Those who love it gorge on Thanksgiving and then grow weary as the big bird’s leftovers linger on.

What to do, asked KOL Foods, the kosher purveyor of grass-fed meats. They also sell poultry, like turkey, that lives (until it doesn’t) in pastures instead of cages.

So the company put the question to a favored slate of eight Jewish food bloggers, asking them each to do their best by a package of KOL Foods turkey parts. The resulting recipes, including Beer Braised Pulled Turkey Tacos from Kosher Like Me and Bourbon Glazed Wings from The Confident Cook, are now up on the KOL Foods website and ready on Dec. 9 to be judged by you and me. Yosef Silver of This American Bite contributed the stuffed latkes you see here. Vote here.

One of the voters will win a $200 KOL Foods gift certificate. The contest winner gets bragging rights. Voting ends Dec. 23.\
