A new Glatt Kosher Mexican restaurant is opening in Teaneck, New Jersey.
Burrito’lam will have its grand opening on July 17, the restaurant announced on its Facebook page on Sunday morning.
“We at Burrito'lam would like to take the time to thank you for the excitement and anticipation you've all shown. We are happy to announce that we will be opening July 17, the day after Tisha B'Av,” The company wrote on Facebook.
Earlier this month Burrito’lam released its lunch and dinner menu, which features chimichangas, tacos, fajitas, salads, and, as the restaurant’s name suggests, burritos.
The cheese and sour cream that accompany many of the dishes are certified Kosher Parve.
This will be the first and only kosher Mexican restaurant in Teaneck, located at 166 West Englewood Avenue.
Additionally everything on the menu costs $8 or less, which is atypical of most kosher meat restaurants.
A Burrito’lam spokesperson was unavailable for comment.
