Obama Has It Right
Wed, 04/16/2014 - 20:00

Gary Rosenblatt tried his hardest to say something nice about President Obama
for nearly two columns, then he couldn’t resist any longer and collapsed
into the John McCain mindset of there never being a war he didn’t like (“How Obama Should Deal With Bullies,” March 28).

was correct not to attack [Syrian leader Bashar] Assad, whose enemies are just as evil as he is. It
is a civil war, and we don’t belong in them. As for Iran, the U.S. will stand
behind Israel militarily if diplomacy fails and the Iranian nuclear ambitions
reach the critical point.

The mark of a true leader is to know which battle
to pick, not enter into every one, or as George W Bush did, the wrong ones.

Obama should ignore McCain's advice, but he surely should put McCain and his war rhetoric in his place. Obama should point out to the world just how many senseless wars and bombings that McCain has called for. Personally I think too that McCain is still bitter over his two presidential defeats

Article makes sense the world is lucky that the American people knew better and never elected this old warmongering madman John McCain president
