Berlin — A 94-year-old former Auschwitz guard was sentenced to four years in prison for his role in the murder of 300,000 Hungarian Jews in the concentration camp.

Nazi Kin March With Holocaust Survivors In Poland

A group of grandchildren of Nazis, along with Holocaust survivors and their descendants, were taking part in a march across Poland with former Nazi death camps along their route this week, AFP reported.

The march was organized by the Protestant TOS Church in Tuebingen, Germany, after many in the church began looking into their family history and discovered Nazi family connections.

It should be simple to make the proper distinction: Poland has a long and not distinguished history of anti-Semitism, including before, during, and after World War II. But it was not responsible for the death camps and the Holocaust.
