Relations with Israel and U.S. seen strained following killings on CIA base in Afghanistan.
The use of a Jordanian double agent by al Qaeda in the suicide bombing that killed seven CIA officers and a Jordanian in Afghanistan last week will make Israelis and Americans wary in their future dealings with Jordan, according to an American security expert.

Israel’s war against Iran is underway. Over in London, the Telegraph headlined (Feb. 16): “Israel Launches Covert War Against Iran.” The sub-head: “Israel has launched a covert war against Iran as an alternative to direct military strikes against Tehran’s nuclear programme, US intelligence sources have revealed.”
In the wake of the killing of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, who reportedly died with the words “I am a Jew” on his lips, several experts on Islamic terrorism and Jewish leaders are warning that Islamic militants have declared a war against Jews.
In issuing what they say is a “wake-up call” to Jews, the experts cautioned that ignoring the warning will mean more innocent people like Pearl, who suspects say was targeted because he was Jewish, will be murdered.
