Author and NY Times editor & columnist Joyce Purnick will talk about her newest book, "Michael Bloomberg, Money, Power, Politics." All are welcome. Free. Light bagel breakfast will be served at no charge.
Joyce Purnick, is a veteran New York reporter and editor. She wrote the award-winning “Metro Matters” column at the New York Times, and headed its entire Metro department. In this new biography, Purnick explores Bloomberg’s life from his childhood in the suburbs of Boston, to his rise on Wall Street, the creation of Bloomberg L.P., to his mayoral record and controversial gamble on a third term. She has created a portrait of one of the more complex men of our era.
