I'll bet you didn't know that ISIS was a Zionist conspiracy created to discredit Islam. In fact, I'll bet even ISIS didn't know it.
But Yasmina Halfi, who worked in the Dutch government's Cyper Security Center, says that's just what happened. On Wednesday she posted on Twitter, "ISIS has nothing to do with Islam. It's part of a plan by Zionists who are deliberately trying to blacken Islam's name."
Quick-acting Dutch officials took two days to figure out she may a few scoops short of a sundae and suspended her. By then she removed the statement, citing work-related "sensitivity." The Justice Minister announced she'd been suspended and "will not be returning to this function, not ever." He added, "She is not the right person for this job."
Ms. Halfi isn't the only one subscribing to this hair-brained idea. No less than the Iranian Army Chief of Staff Gen. Hassan Firouzabadi apparently agrees that Israel created ISIS.
“ISIS is Israel’s cover up for distancing the revolutionary forces from Israeli borders and creating a margin of security for the Zionists, and the Zionist media have also admitted this fact,” he was quoted as saying by Iran's state-run Fars News Agency.
How did they find out?
[This is part of a series of astonishing revelations from the clueless class.]
