The 'Club Foot' School of Dating

A girlfriend was filling me on her latest set-up date.

"Turns out he's pushing 50!" said my 30-something friend.

She named a few more, let's call them "surprises."

And by surprises, I mean, bummers.

And they really are bummers!

Or as I like to say, In the end, there's always a club foot.

Which is another way of saying, it's hard to remain an optimist in this horror show called dating.

But don't get me started. I've had a rotten day. And a married girlfriend also just filled my ear with her own tales of woe, which actually made me appreciate what I have.

Which is really another way of saying, does anyone have a good joke to share??
