Dan Hotels Israel

Spring is definitely in the air – blue skies, flowers blooming and beautiful warm and longer days. All fourteen Dan hotels are looking forward to welcoming many guests from overseas who will be arriving within the next few weeks for the Passover and Easter holidays.

News from around the Dan Chain

Renovations and Facelifts:

Renovations have taken place in Dan Panorama Jerusalem with the introduction of a new category of “Deluxe Rooms” providing guests with an additional dimension of style and comfort. In the south of the country, the lobby of Dan Panorama Eilat has undergone a dramatic transformation with new furniture, carpets, curtains and wallpaper resulting in a delightful spacious area where guests can relax.

The swimming pools are all opened now for the season, many of which have been renovated and improved with the most noticeable changes in Dan Caesarea. Here the pool has been divided up into three different areas – one suitable for small children, one half Olympic size and another section for guests to enjoy sitting on deckchairs while dangling their feet in the water. The ultimate chill out area! There is also a new Pool Bar, again split into two sections offering meat and or milky meals and snacks. Special children size seating is situated nearby too as well as a sundeck for sun worshipers.

Social Media:

Having now included free wi-fi in all our hotels we continue to listen to our guests and keep communication channels open. In the past year, the group has actively been engaging on major social media channels and encourages its guests to share their experiences online with other travelers via Tripadvisor, Facebook, and Twitter as we believe that online engagement positively enhances a guests experience even from before they arrive.

JNF Announces First Golf Mission to Israel

Can’t make it to the PGA but dreamed of playing on a professional-style golf tournament? Join Jewish National Fund’s (JNF) first-ever International Golf Mission to Israel October 10-15, 2013.

It will feature the exciting finale of The Herzl Tour -- a cross-country tournament taking place now -- where the winning teams from four cities across the United States will compete in the EL AL Cup to determine the JNF Champions at the Caesarea Golf Club.  All other Golf Mission participants will have the opportunity to play in their own
tournament, alongside those competing for the EL AL Cup.

Everyone, including all Herzl Tour members, are invited to participate in the mission. In addition to two days of golf at the Caesarea Golf Club, the mission will tour the popular sights of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, as well as enjoy a hot air balloon ride and winery trip in the Negev. Participants will witness the transformation of the Negev Desert under JNF’s Blueprint Negev campaign, and see the difference that the Sderot Indoor Recreation Center has made in a community that is often besiegedwith rocket attacks.

“I am honored to be chairing the first-ever JNF golf mission to Israel,” said Aaron Tucker, Golf Mission Chair and Central New Jersey Board member. “For those of us competing for the El Al Cup, it’s as though we are playing to win a golf ‘major’. Golfers don’t have many chances like this, and to couple it with helping Israel, makes it even more special.”
